Aniruddh trained in the laboratory from 2012-2013 as a medical student researcher.
During his time in the lab, he was supported by Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Foundation fellowship.
A key research contribution during this period of training was the analysis of rare variants associated with plasma lipid levels in a population of 130,000 individuals using the exome array. Another key contribution was targeted sequencing of genes at plasma lipid GWAS loci in individuals with extremely high and low LDL-C, HDL-C, and triglycerides.
Aniruddh is currently a resident in medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.
