Connor has a particular interest in the use of human genetics to identify novel causal risk factors for cardiometabolic disease and to identify beneficial and adverse effects of therapeutics. He completed his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Toronto before completing a DPhil in cardiovascular epidemiology (2013-2016) at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes scholar. In addition to his research efforts, Connor is a medical student at Harvard Medical School.
