Genetic Counselor

Deanna graduated with a B.S in Biology from SUNY Geneseo and went on to receive her master’s degree in Genetic Counseling at Boston University in 2017.  Throughout her genetic counseling training, Deanna provided education and counseling to patients in various pediatric, cancer, and prenatal genetic clinics throughout Boston and Portland, Maine.  In the Boston area, she has also assisted with the development of clinical research studies assessing the utility of genomic sequencing.  She joins the Center for Genomic Medicine at MGH to focus on the development and implementation of clinical genetic research studies.
