Johnny was a member of the Broad Cardiovascular Disease Research group as a research associate.
During his time in the lab, he was supported by the Broad Bayer collaboration.
A key research contribution during this period of training was the characterization of coding SNPs associated with Myocardial Infarction. On a another project investigating an Atrial Fibrillation GWAS locus, he performed an eQTL analysis on genes surrounding the sentinel SNP from human left atrial tissues. His work on target validation assisted the early stages of evaluating new therapeutic targets for treating cardiovascular disease.
Johnny is currently a graduate student at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Johnny was a member of the Broad Cardiovascular Disease Research group as a research associate.
