Mark is an Associate Computational Biologist in the Cardiometabolic Disease Program of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. He received his M.S in Computational Biology and Quantitative Genetics from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. During his time at the School of Public Health, he worked to quantify the degree to which gene expression is heritable in different human tissues and the extent to which that heritability is shared amongst these tissues. He is interested in determining the underlying genetic variation of cardiometabolic disease and applying various bioinformatics techniques to provide functional interpretation of these results.
