Mary trained in the laboratory from 2007-2009 as a postdoctoral fellow.
During her time in the lab, she was supported by the Charles A. Kings Trust Fellowship.
A key research contribution during this period of training was testing the association of blood lipids with common DNA sequence variants at 19 genetic loci in a multiethnic sample representative of the United States. Mary published two manuscripts while training in the lab.
Mary is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute.
