Post-Doctoral Research Fellow
Rajat is a cardiologist and vascular biology researcher working in the lab to use human genetics to understand novel vascular pathways that cause myocardial infarction. He uses stem cell-derived and genome edited primary vascular cells to understand the biological effects of coronary artery disease associated variants. Rajat graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and has completed clinical training in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is an instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Physician in Cardiovascular Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
